To make things even easier for you, the vacuum cleaner features a telescopic extension want and believe it or not, even a headlight for illuminating dark areas such as underneath furniture and etcetera.

The canister portion of this lightweight machine comes with a carrying strap which increases its mobility. It is able to be toted up and down the stairs, and if there happens to be tight quarters, the Hoover Platinum should be your choice. At the top of the canister is an area that has a handle which makes it very easy to pick up and carry while the vacuum is still in operation. You will see that the canister has impressive suction. The hose is a bit short at less than 5 feet. The canister vacuum is also somewhat loud.

Now, considering that you actually get two vacuum cleaners so to speak, the $400 price tag is a welcome surprise as most would expect to pay considerably more for the Hoover Platinum. Of course, as with any appliance, the Hoover Platinum does have a few issues but having said that, they’re not important enough to cause any problems. The first one being, there’s no roller brush cut-off feature and second, because it’s been designed to be lightweight, it can sometimes feel a little flimsy.

When you consider the overall quality of the Hoover Platinum Lightweight, you will agree that this is a very nice vacuum cleaner to own. It is not only lightweight but it is very adaptable and sports two machines for one price. Because Hoover includes its best 6-year warranty, this makes this machine worth every penny.
