Why You Need Antispyware As Supplement To Antivirus
You computer already has an antivirus and you might wondering if you need an antispyware as another security tool to protect your computer. You must remember one thing – Not all types of computer threats are detectable or removable by an antivirus alone. Some of good spyware removal and detector like SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes are best in detecting rogue antispyware, scam security tools, spyware and Trojan which are sometimes undetected by your anti virus program. Furthermore each security tools update certain types of computer infection definitions which some might get updated by the other tool.
Antispyware or Antitrojan?
Although they sound like siblings however they are offering the same way of protections. It is common to have more than one antispyware program in a PC. However most PCs with more than one antivirus reported to get fatal damages. This is because an antivirus sees the other one as threat, thus they try to “kill” each other. Common errors including computer freeze, sluggishness etc.
Not all security tools are compatible to your PC as each computer contains different specifications. No wonder there are lots of complains regarding errors that occur after a security tool is installed and run in a system. A good suggestion is to try the antivirus or antispyware for a while to make sure that it not causes your computer to gain certain problems such as freezing which is common. For myself I am using Eset Nod32 antivirus and Lavasoft Ad-Aware antispyware software to protect my computer, and they seem compatible with each other.
